In 2022, I decided to spruce up my rifles and do some custom painting and camo. It was such a hit that people began asking me to do theirs. Over the past couple of years it has developed into something bigger. I have painted dozens of guns from Nanaimo to New Brunswick.

Paint
All painting work is done by hand and patterns will vary. All rifles will need to be re-sighted once reassembled as the difference in torque to the action screws can affect the accuracy of the previously zeroed scope.

The Fine Print
- Hand-Painted Variations
The firearm or firearm parts provided to John Bradburne/ JR’s Gun Coatings for painting are hand-painted. While every effort is made to ensure consistency in the finish, slight variations may occur due to the nature of hand-painting. - Warranty
John Bradburne/ JR’s Gun Coatings warrants the painting work against material defects and workmanship issues for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion. This warranty does not cover damage caused by wear and tear, misuse, or any alterations made after the service. - Temporary Possession of Firearm
By using this service, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily transferring possession of the firearm or its parts to John Bradburne/ JR’s Gun Coatings for a temporary period, solely for the purpose of painting. You consent to JR’s Gun Coatings legally possessing the firearm during this time. - Compliance with Laws
All local, provincial, and federal firearm laws must be strictly followed during the transfer of the firearm for this service. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with these laws. - Payment Requirement
The firearm or firearm parts will be held by John Bradburne/ JR’s Gun Coatings until payment in full for the services rendered is received. No firearm or parts will be returned until the balance is paid in full.
